National Literacy Month, traditionally launched on September 8th to coincide with International Literacy Day, was celebrated this year on September 20th in Rusizi District at Nkombo Island. Throughout the month, Soma Rwanda and its members across the country organized various activities promoting a culture of reading and writing. This report highlights the key activities conducted during National Literacy Month 2024, showcasing the collective efforts to enhance literacy awareness and foster a reading culture among children and communities.
